SWB RailRiders Media bobblehead Voting

The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders would like to immortalize one local media celebrity with a Bobblehead during the 2014 season. Local news stations, radio stations and newspapers were given the opportunity to choose up to three celebrities to nominate for the Bobblehead voting. See all nominees below and vote for your favorite local celebrity!

Please note, all fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required for your submission.

 * Vote for your favorite local celebrity

Sharla McBride (WNEP)
Vote for me "I grew up in Texas but have grown to call Northeast Pennsylvania my home, and couldn't be more proud to be a part of this contest. I love this community and what it embodies; hardworking, family-oriented and proud people who have showered me with kindness from the moment I became a sportscaster for WNEP."

Chris Kelly (Scranton Times-Tribune)
Vote for me Times-Tribune columnist Chris Kelly has the biggest head in Northeast PA, proving every Sunday that size doesn't always matter.

Donnie Collins (Scranton Times-Tribune)
Vote for me Donnie Collins is the award-winning columnist and Penn State football beat writer for The Scranton-Times Tribune. Unlike the others in this competition, he also covers the RailRiders full time.

Frankie Warren (Magic93)
Vote for me "To have my own bobblehead would be the culmination of years of hard work. It would be such an honor! To be immortalized like that would truly be a career highlight! It would make my life complete! And what a great item for my daughter to bring in to school for Show and Tell!! Thank you so much!!"

Joby Fawcett (Scranton Times-Tribune)
Vote for me Joby started at The Times-Tribune as a sports clerk in 1997, and became a staff writer in 1998, where he has been the leading high school sports voice in the area ever since. Joby covers high school sports including football, boys basketball, track and field, tennis, volleyball and swimming on a regular basis, along with helping out with coverage on lacrosse, baseball and softball and the occasional girls basketball game as well.

Jonathan Bombulie (Citizens' Voice)
Vote for me Jonathan Bombulie has covered professional hockey for The Citizens' Voice since 1999, and somehow, he's managed to keep all his teeth.

Mike Duffy (FUZZ 92.1)
Vote for me Like any great mystery of the universe, it's impossible to fully comprehend the awesomeness of FUZZ 92.1's Mike Duffy. An all-around music fanatic, guitar god, and avid runner/fitness nut, NEPA's afternoon show phenom is truly the complete package.

Prospector (Rock 107)
Vote for me Described by some as an Anger Artist, Rock 107's Prospector has been on NEPA's airwaves since 1988. He loves his bikes, golf, the St. Louis Rams, New York Rangers, the New York Yankees, AC/DC and other loud music. Oh and his wife, yes he loves his wife.

Jose the Dysfunctional Leprechaun (Bold Gold)
Vote for me "Oh, me friends, I believe that laughter is the best medicine; and each and every day I'll do what I can to create smiles and laughter on the faces of everyone I encounter, young and old alike, sick or healthy. Everyone should be happy...if even for a few seconds; I want to be 'da bobblehead that "bobs" into the funny bones of NEPA (and the world). Smile!!! Laugh!!!"

Eric and Selena (Froggy 101)
Vote for us Eric & Selena of FROGGY 101's Wake Up Call are honored to throw their big heads into the bobble ring! These will be some state-of-the-art bobble heads, too: Every time Bobble Eric nods, 'yes', Bobble Selena will shake, 'no'. The RailRiders will have to use one strong coil to hold that enormous Eric Bobblehead in place: a fete worth the vote to see!

Jeff and Amanda (98.5 KRZ)
Vote for us Jumpin Jeff's been driving home with you for over 30 years on 98.5 KRZ! It's hard to believe, but in all those years, he's never been made into a bobblehead. This contest is fate. Jeff and Amanda have been paired up on afternoons on KRZ for 7 years and agree on virtually nothing ... except the fact that it would be really fun to be made into bobbleheads!

Rocky and Lissa (98.5 KRZ)
Vote for us Rocky & Lissa hang out with you every morning on your drive to work, on 98.5 KRZ, like a couple friends bumming rides in your car but never chipping in for gas. Rocky's been the morning voice of Northeast PA for over 25 years, Lissa's a musician who grew up in Michigan but moved to Scranton 3 years ago because it's a half a degree warmer. Vote for them and puppies will smile.

Ken Brown (WBRE)
Vote for me Ken Brown is the weekend sports anchor at WBRE and joined the team in January of 2013. Ken spent two and a half years as the weekend sports anchor WJET/WFXP in Erie, PA prior to joining WBRE. He has enjoyed covering PSAC sports, high school athletics and both minor and major league sports.
